When the alien Starfire is recruited for an intergalactic operation to free her home planet of Tamaran from the invading Blight, her fellow Outlaws, Arsenal and Red Hood, see a different side of their teammate. As a child, she was traded to a warring alien race in the form of a peace treaty, and subjugated to slavery by her own sister as the Tarmarans turned their backs. She suddenly finds herself embroiled in an interstellar war, but is she willing to risk her own life and the lives of her team and crew to save them?

Meanwhile, the Red Hood - a former teen sidekick of Batman - returns to Gotham only to be ensnared in the Dark Knight's battle against the shadowy Court of Owls. The Hood will have to quickly decide if he wants - or needs - to put aside his pride and take on a mission for his old mentor in order to save Gotham City.

The Outlaws find themselves facing their past tormentors one at a time. Will these three heroes choose redemption... or revenge?

Un deuxième tome que j'ai préféré au premier: la série part sur du space opéra, avec un tome largement centré autour de Kori'ander et de son peuple. J'ai beaucoup apprécié.
