If you like writing letters, and if you want to practice your English, penpalling is probably the best choice!

Personally I used to be very bad at English when I was at the high school and I know it was very helpful for me to correspond with English-speaking people. There are many websites about penpalling but my favorite are http://www.penpalsnow.com and http://maarten.daams.tripod.com/ .

You can post an ad to introduce yourself. It's easy, but don't forget to be chatty. Tell about your life & your hobbies, and don't forget to precise the type of pals you're looking for.

To have a penpal is a funny way to practice a language & to discover an other culture. Don't hesitate to try it!

There are a lot of websites for students and teachers. I only know http://www.studentsoftheworld.info/ but I'm sure there are other websites on the Web. Google is your friend! ;)

I just knew students of the world, but I'll take a look at the other websites.
I have many penfriend, especially from Scandinavia. =)
And with that I can improve my English/German/Spanish/Finnish, it's great !
