This if the definitive edition of A. E. Housman's collected poetry. It contains the whole of A Shropshire Lad, Last Poems, More Poems, Manuscript Poems, and the verses which were printed in A. E. H., Laurence Housman's memoir of his brother.

The collection is rounded of with three chorus translations from the Greek, which originally appeared in Odes from the Greek Dramatists, edited by A. W. Pollard.
