Savage - poem on domestic violence

I know this poem might be heartbreaking and hard to read but it's supposed to have been written in memory of all women that unfortunately succumbed to domestic violence.

Savage monster
What can you see now
Looking in the mirror?
This beast you've been to her
The rage, the fist
Untamed, uncontrolled
Are you really satisfied
with that role?
The tragedy you played
Hope it's haunting you now
Didn't realize
Only to late
You've been the lies
That set her fate
And today the flowers
You should've treated her with
Will decorate her tomb
She was your Eve
But you were her doom.
