I tried The picture of Dorian Gray but the grammar is too complex for me.. I can read and understand quite well but it takes me YEARS to finish a book =)

Haha 'kay! That's a good beginning ... ^^ Are you planning reading others? Or was it unpleasant?
Personnally i prefer read in english when it's possible, now that i've tasted it... I "feel" the original text more than the translated one, it's more authentic and sometimes (often) you can not translate exactly the sens of the text (particularly when there is 2 senses possible, it's hard to translate the exact expression from a language to another!).

This is 31 and beyond for me too. It would be hard to tell exactly how much books I read. I started with the 5th or 6th Harry Potter book because I wanted to read it so hard, and read more and more in english ever since.
(Unfortunately, it improved my comprehension a lot, but my writing is still kind of poor, I have to practice harder!)

And I won't stop, books are cheaper in english =D

If you asked that a couple of years before, I would probably have counted less than 10. Today, half of my bookshelf is full of English books, and I don't even fear what might be waiting for me before I buy a new one - although I do still get burned once in a while by a dramatically boring/pompous book that makes me want to rip my eyeballs out of their sockets :D But hey, that's life, and like Tam I think you feel more the story when you know it's the author's own words. I do admire translators but still, one can only do so much.

More than 21 for me ... But probably less 30 (though not by much, I think). But it's only a matter of time ;)
