I've read just a few books. Except for the college for my english class, I read Assassin's creed (I don't even know why I bought it) and The Unspoken by Thomas Fahy.
And soon, I'm gonna buy The replacement by Brenna Yovanof and a book about horror movies "The scream queen survival guide" and maybe others.

I already read three books in English, and I really like !
I read the three firsts books of the Saga Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling !
I thinks it's more interesting to read English books that have an english author ! Personally I improved my english more quickly than in English classe !
I really think it's so funny I want to read all my books in English !! My friends say i'm crazy, but I don't see why ?? :sifflote: (I'm crazy, but not in it side :P)

Edit : I hope there are no faults... tell me if there are ones ! =)

There's nothing crazy about wanting to read in english! Tell your friends it's them who are crazy not to want to try :D

    @MSM : Thanks for the correction !
I don't know how explain... I'm going to try ! It's more interesting to read book which have english author, because it's the original language of the book and I think it is better =) But it's me :P

@Bambi : Indeed, it's not really funny the grammar... I have to do my grammar exercices for tomorow and I'm not really happy to do this...

In my case, the english world or phrases that I learned, it was by listening music, watching movies, tv show in english and read in english, and not in class but the business vocabulary.

The same, I try to translate the songs I listen. I watch my series in original version subtitle in french.  I began to read in english during the holidays :)

@Toulou : They have difficulties with the english language... and if they don't succeed, they don't like... :S But they're crazy like me, and that's why they are my friends :P

After, you'll can watch with english subtitles. I began with some True Blood episodes (because I was so impatient to see them so I couldn't wait the french subtitles) and I understood 70-80 %.

I don't know the exact number but more than 31 obviously (cf my job!) but I don't really read in English any more. I was kind of fed up after the capes!

    So...
I started reading English books when I was in China. My first was... Twilight!
Then, I read the following books... and some others (1984, Hamlet...).

Since I'm back, I've read some others (and I like that).

So I ticked '11-20', cause I'm sure I've opened more than 10 books, but less than 20 (but I'll improve that).

I like this topic! I miss so much speaking in English (and writting too). Glad to practice a little :D

How about Chinese, do you miss speaking it also? Or more like hearing it I guess... ;)

My Chinese is so poor! But I miss hearing it in the street, and having some "hanzi" written everywhere!
    I miss Shanghai..

Oh you lived in China, so cool! For how long? What did you do there? Do you have a blog talking about your trip there?

China, that's so cool. I worked last summer in a chinese cultural institute here in France and got used to hearing chinese. I sometimes here Chinese exchange students speaking, it's quite nice.
