I voted 31 and beyond.  I started reading in english with Harry Potter books. It was awesome, i bragged that i knew the story before everyone!  Yeah, so childish... But the day I tried to read Animal Farm from Georges Orwell, I shut my mouth... I couldn't finish it and I haven't tried to read it again since.  Maybe I'll try if I read it in french first.
I just received Carrier of the Mark from Leigh Fallon in english and I'll start reading it during the summer.
    I loooove english readin'!

When I was young (about 12 years old) I won an English book. In this book, the vocabulary was adapted to learner so it wasn't very difficult to understand.
Actuelly I'm reading Bloodlines (very slowly) written by Richelle Mead, but it will publish soon in french so it's difficult to make so much work!
This page is really a good idea even if I don't speak (and write) English very good!

Only one, because it's a little bit difficult for me (my level is basic). But I want to read another one and I'm looking for the second :)

I started reading in English when I was just 12, because I thought that it could be a good way to learn more vocabulary. I started with Roald Dahl's books, I knew (and still know) them by heart, so it was an easy start.

Then, I was in high school and English was (despite my teacher) my fav' subject. I was spending all the time I had reading novels, short stories and plays!

Now, I am studying English at university, so I still read a lot, and mostly in English.

I started reading in english when i was a kid, at primary school. So when I count all the books at english that I read, I didn't include the little stories... just the "official" novels.

I started with the last Harry Potter in english because I was too excited to wait for the french version. ^^

Then, I read tree Agatha Christie's novels and Four Past Midnight : a Stephen King's book. It was really interesting to read them in VO !

So that makes 5 books in english, for the moment ! :)
