The world's greatest heroes band together in the Justice League of America, able to overcome any threat. Usually. The current team is young and untested, but a strange meteor is about to bring them a powerful new member—and possibly the end of the world.
The meteor is the last remaining fragment of the Starheart, a fusion of chaos and magic that grants powers to Alan Scott, the Green Lantern of the Justice Society of America. And trapped inside the meteor is Alan's daughter Jade, recently returned to life after Blackest Night. But when the Starheart possesses Alan and begins to drive other superheroes insane, the JLA and JSA find themselves in a desperate race to save their friends and all life on Earth.
