WHO CAN STOP AN EVIL FORCE MORE POWERFUL THAN THE JUSTICE LEAGUE?
An out-of-control sorceress is creating havoc across the Earth, and not even the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman have been able to stop her. Clairvoyant Madame Xanadu has foreseen that the only means to save the plane is to assemble a group of the world's most powerful and bizarre heroes: Zatanna, performer of stage magic --- as well as the real thing. Reality-altering alien Shade. Cynical sorcerer John Constantine. Dead man Deadman.
Not one of them would ever choose to work with the others. And yet, this Justice League of the Dark Arts might succeed where the established Justice League has failed. Xanadu's unlikely team alone can stop the Enchantress from punishing the Earth with her unstoppable magic...but only if its members can find some way to work together.
These are dark times, indeed.

Ce premier volume m'a bien plu et le fait que Constantine fasse partie de la série n'y est probablement pas étranger. Pour les autres personnages, c'est une découverte et ça demande un petit temps d'adaptation, l'ensemble du volume servant surtout à la présentation de l'équipe et à sa formation.
Des dessins magnifiques, une histoire intéressante, mais très confuse pour moi. En le refermant je ne suis même pas sûr d'avoir tout saisi. Et puis trop de personnages complètement inconnus à mon goût et qui débarquent sans aucune présentation ni explication de qui ils sont et ce qu'ils font là... Dommage, parce que si on est pas un expert absolu dans l'univers DC on ratera forcément des choses...
