Calvin Rose was raised to be a killer. Rich, powerful and completely without mercy, the secret society called the Court of Owls trained him from childhood to be one of their elite assassins: a Talon, a killer who aimed at the hearts of all of them. On that day, Calvin Rose began running. Now, after years away, he's about to come home.
The Owls went to war against the Batman - and lost. Now only a few Talons survive to preserve the Court's grip on Gotham City - each of them an undead, indestructible killing machine.
