Une étude assez riche sur la vie de Larson, développée et travaillée, malheureusement encore non-traduite. Si malheureusement l'auteur décide de mettre les notes de bas de page en fin de chapitre, le tout reste bien présenté, avec une construction semi-thématique, semi-chronologique. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'illustration. Un immanquable pour l'histoire des comédies musicales !

Un titre éclairant sur les difficultés de Larson, sa clairvoyance, l'impact qu'il a eu avec son ouverture à la diversité, ses relations, ses projets ambitieux, ses textes engageants et ça propose aussi en annexe des versions de scripts. Je regrette cependant un côté technique parfois obscur, on s'éloigne parfois trop du réel et j'aurais aimé plus de scenarii et de textes, mais c'est instructif !
