Synopsis
Layla Bean is just a punk girl from Detroit. But as the new millennium dawns, big things are happening in her life. Her garage rock band, Cast Party, is taking the local music scene by storm and a huge record label from New York has their eyes on her. Layla’s on the verge of something life-changing… and it’s scary.
Despite her anxiety, Layla finds herself falling for beautiful record executive Daisy. Daisy is so normal, and from such a different world. But something in Daisy soothes Layla, and the two women join together on the wild ride to stardom.
Layla is determined to stay grounded as she ascends to the top. But money and fame can have other plans. Can she navigate life as a famous rock musician with Daisy at her side, or will Layla’s star fall just as quickly as it rises?
