Synopsis
Deja and Josiah are seasonal best friends.
Every autumn, all through high school, they've worked together at the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world (not many people know that the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world is in Omaha, Nebraska, but it definitely is). They say goodbye every Halloween, and they're reunited every September 1.
But this Halloween is different - Josiah and Deja are finally seniors, and this is their last season at the pumpkin patch. Their last shift together. Their last goodbye.
Josiah's ready to spend the whole night feeling melancholy about it. Deja isn't ready to let him. She's got a plan: What if instead of moping they went out with a bang? They could see all the sights! Taste all the snacks! And Josiah could finally talk to that cute girl he's been mooning over for three years . . .

Sympa et divertissant, même si l’histoire est assez « facile » et sans surprise. L’ambiance est vraiment douillette, avec des dessins très automnaux, très « pumpkin spice ». Les couleurs sont vraiment splendides et les dessins m’ont convaincue. Lecture en VO accessible. Un joli petit moment, les personnages sont plutôt attachants et drôles. J’adorerais visiter cet endroit en vrai ! [15]
C'était tout doux avec un anglais très abordable. Idéal pour une lecture cosy ambiance d'automne hiver. Les personnages sont choux et la romance toute mimi.
Un roman graphique facile à lire en anglais et parfait pour se plonger dans l'ambiance d'Halloween. C'est un récit tout doux et mignon, avec une jolie histoire et des dessins canons. On voudrait le même parc ici, même sans être un.e féru.e de l'automne ! 17/20
Un petit roman graphique aux couleurs d'Halloween. Une histoire douce et sucrée. J'ai aimé le graphisme et l'histoire. J'ai aimé me promener dans le Pumpkin Patch de Deja et Josiah. Je le relirai l'année prochaine avec plaisir !
