Synopsis
Deja and Josiah are seasonal best friends.
Every autumn, all through high school, they've worked together at the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world (not many people know that the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world is in Omaha, Nebraska, but it definitely is). They say goodbye every Halloween, and they're reunited every September 1.
But this Halloween is different - Josiah and Deja are finally seniors, and this is their last season at the pumpkin patch. Their last shift together. Their last goodbye.
Josiah's ready to spend the whole night feeling melancholy about it. Deja isn't ready to let him. She's got a plan: What if instead of moping they went out with a bang? They could see all the sights! Taste all the snacks! And Josiah could finally talk to that cute girl he's been mooning over for three years . . .
What if their last shift was an adventure?

À la recherche d'une lecture cocooning pour la saison ? Pumpkinheads est là ! L'histoire est adorable, les couleurs sont automnales et les personnages attachants. C'est une relecture qu'il me tardait de faire, sachant que j'allais forcément passer un très bon moment avec Deja et Josiah. Et ce fut encore mieux que je l'espérais !
Un roman graphique réconfortant et cosy à souhait. A lire en septembre/octobre pour une véritable immersion.
Un comics parfait pour l'automne! J'ai beaucoup aimé les personnages, les dessins, les couleurs et surtout cette histoire vraiment mignonne et toute douce. J'aurais tellement voulu que le plaisir de cette lecture dure plus longtemps.
Un coup de coeur que je devinais depuis longtemps! Les illustrations, les personnages (particulièrement Deja qui est si attachante), les champs de maïs, les citrouilles... Absolument le genre d'ambiance que je cherchais pour l'automne et je me suis régalée. Et que dire de tous ces jeux de mots avec "Fudge" qui m'ont arraché plus d'un sourire!
C'est drôle, pétillant ...Les personnages sont très vite attachants. L'ambiance automnale est là, une vraie gourmandise !
