Synopsis
Deja and Josiah are seasonal best friends.
Every autumn, all through high school, they've worked together at the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world (not many people know that the best pumpkin patch in the whole wide world is in Omaha, Nebraska, but it definitely is). They say goodbye every Halloween, and they're reunited every September 1.
But this Halloween is different - Josiah and Deja are finally seniors, and this is their last season at the pumpkin patch. Their last shift together. Their last goodbye.
Josiah's ready to spend the whole night feeling melancholy about it. Deja isn't ready to let him. She's got a plan: What if instead of moping they went out with a bang? They could see all the sights! Taste all the snacks! And Josiah could finally talk to that cute girl he's been mooning over for three years . . .

Une jolie histoire automnale qui se lit toute seule. J'ai beaucoup aimé les graphismes très colorés. En revanche, la fin est prévisible.
Un très joli roman graphique à l’ambiance automnale dont j’ai aimé les personnages, mais un peu moins l’intrigue, dont la fin m’a légèrement déçue...
J’ai trouvé que l’’ambiance était géniale : cosy, « américaine » et parfaite pour lire sous un plaid en Automne.
J’ai bien aimé les personnages que j’ai trouvé sympathiques.
Les illustrations sont très jolies et pile comme je m’imaginais les « Pumpkin Patch », ces endroits aux USA où ils font pousser des citrouilles à perte de vue et où ils les vendent sur place...
L'histoire est prévisible mais les personnages sont adorable et j'ai beaucoup aimé l'ambiance automnal. Un bon moment tout doux à passer sous un plaid.
Une comédie romantique toute simple, drôle et joyeuse, parfaite en cette saison automnale. L'occasion également de découvrir quelques traditions culinaires américaines (sur le papier seulement...pour le moment!). Un roman graphique sympa que j'ai lu pour me "consoler" d'un séjour manqué chez un ami américain... Immersion réussie !
