J’ai beaucoup la plume de l’autrice mais malgré tout il y a des défauts à cette histoire. Le caractère du héros est compréhensible de par son passé mais c’est mal amené malheureusement. Et l’enquête est très intéressante mais pas assez développée. C’est une bonne histoire qui aurait mérité plus de construction au niveau psychologique mais aussi au niveau de l’histoire générale.

Une histoire de seconde chance, de renouveau dans une petite communauté calme et soudée. Rien de tel pour remonter son moral.

Recommandations : une romance contemporaine douce sur fond de reconstruction avec une petite enquête en fond.
Une saga comme je les aime, qui m'a fait penser à Lucky Harbor ou Lark Cove que j'ai lu avant.
Une petite ville ou tout le monde se connait, de superbes paysages et des personnages très attachants.
J'ai beaucoup aimé découvrir Jamison Valley et ses habitants.
