J'avais peur que ce livre soit pour moi une redite de la série de Tudors de P. Gregory, mais Weir réussit ici à nous faire revivre l'histoire d'un point de vue totalement différent et autrement intéressant, tout en mettant en avant des détails historiques dont je n'avais pas encore conscience. Le choc des cultures/périodes est difficile en tant que lecteur, mais le livre nous emporte ! Bien joué !
