Samantha Berger is pretty sure that other nice Jewish girls don’t have parents who force them to spend their weekends tromping through the wilds of Ohio in search of Bigfoot. Now, a reality TV show at least makes sense of some of it, holding out the promise of a cash prize big enough to pay for college. The show, however, also pits Samantha against a snotty prep school boy who puts down her beloved, eccentric family. That is, until chance strands Samantha and Devan alone in the wilderness, where she begins to learn that he has troubles of his own… and that there just might be something very real and very eerie out there waiting for both of them.
