Emilia Scott is a psychology student at Watertown University who has just finished her junior year. The first three years of her college experience weren't all that, as she was solely focused on her GPA, internships and working to support herself. However, with a great GPA, her graduate school applications lined up and only one year of college left she finally wants to finish the little list she made for herself in high school and there's a green-eyed prince charming ready to help.

Liam Mills, captain of the baseball team, has been ignoring the nagging little voice in his brain that has had him questioning his life decisions for the better part of a year. He has to stay focused on baseball; it's the one thing he's been dedicated to his whole life. Making it to the major leagues isn't just for himself, it's also to fulfill his promise to his dad. The only problem is his heart isn't in it anymore and seeing a specific blue-eyed beauty with passion in hers makes him come face to face with the thoughts he's been pushing away for months.
