Synopsis
Twenty-five years ago three friends grew from girls to women on the sandy shores of Hubbard's Point, Connecticut, forging a bond they swore would last always. Then time and distance drew them apart --- and one was lost forever. Now her nine-year-old daughter has returned to the point with her widowed father, longing to find "beach girls" of her mother's stories.
But after years of heartbreak, artist Stevie Moore has withdrawn into a self-imposed exile. And for Maddie Kilvert, Hubbard's Point has become a place where innocence and tragedy forever intertwine. Can memories of blue skies and laughter bring them together again to embrace a lonely girl ans a wounded man? If they can believe once more in the power of the past and the magic of another summer, it may light the way toward a new chance at love for them all....
