The stranger turns out to be Nox Ether, the notorious King of the Unseelie Court and her uncle’s political enemy. Nox takes a darkly keen interest in Aster, his presence bleeding into more than just her waking hours. All the while, unrest stirs within the Unseelie Court as members of Nox’s inner circle disappear and whispers that demonic forces are at play begin to spread.

When Aster’s forbidden attraction to the Unseelie King and the threat of danger brewing in the courts become intrinsically linked, she is forced to face her fate… even if in the end, it’s the death of her.
