Une lecture très prenante qui permet de vivre de l'intérieur le quotidien d'une famille évangélique avec un ado qui n'arrive plus à suivre les attentes de ses parents. Par contre, malgré ce qui est écrit en couverture, l'orientation sexuelle de l'auteur est un thème très peu abordé vu que l'auteur a fait son coming out quelques années après le lycée, or le livre s'arrête à la fin du lycée.
Une autobiographie intéressante et touchante d'un garçon qui a grandi dans une famille extrêmement pieuse sans parvenir à partager sa dévotion religieuse.
